What Afters is

Afters (afters.now and the Afters iOS app) is a shared party camera: a host creates a party (“roll”), invited guests snap photos into it, and the roll develops into a shared album for that party’s members. Afters is operated by Code5 (Romania). Contact: afters@code5.ro.

What we collect

• Phone number — used to sign you in (one-time SMS code) and, where you haven’t enabled notifications, to send party-related texts (e.g. “your roll developed”). Never shown to other users.
• Display name and optional profile photo — shown to members of parties you join.
• Photos you take in a party — visible to that party’s members under the party’s reveal rules. Hosts can hide photos from the roll.
• Push tokens — if you enable notifications, a device token so we can send them.
• Basic technical logs — standard server logs for security and debugging.

We do not run ads, sell data, use third-party analytics, or track you across other apps and websites.

Who can see your content

Party photos are private to that party’s members — people who joined via the host’s invite link or QR code. Photos may stay hidden until the roll “develops”, per the host’s settings. Members can save developed photos to their devices, like any shared album.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (managed Postgres + storage) and served via Vercel. SMS is delivered via Vonage; push notifications via Apple/Expo’s push services. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

Retention

We keep your rolls and their photos so members can come back to them — they are not deleted on an automatic timer. Content is removed when it’s taken down: any photo can be reported and removed, and deleting your account removes your account, profile, and the photos you took (see “Your rights”). Your account data (phone, profile) is kept while your account exists.

Your rights

• Delete your account — request it in the app (Profile → Delete account) or email us; we process deletion within 30 days, removing your account, profile, and the photos you took.
• Report content — every photo can be reported in the app; we review reports within 24 hours and remove content that violates our terms.
• Access / correction / objection (GDPR) — email afters@code5.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).

Age

Afters is not directed at children under 16. Don’t use Afters if you’re under 16.

Changes

We’ll update this page when the policy changes; material changes will be flagged in-app.
